YES! This is the one. The photograph of the intersecting lines. I recognized it in your last post. Has to be the same buildings. No?
You made me check
Yes, the background building is the same…the foreground building is new. I was about one block away and with the 200mm (my favorite lens) I was able to have them overlap.
It was very effective. I never thought about a fixed 200mm. I’ll suggest it to my son-in-law, the real photographer in the family. If you can get this at a block away….geez…he could swat a fly off his deer antlers in the field.
200mm prime is “my lens” of late. I always try to include focal length as a tag on this site but sometimes forget. On Flickr, I have it set up to automatically include that metadata as a tag, and have Sets for every shot by each lens. It’s always with me for sure…I’m sure your son-in-law would enjoy it.
Thanks. Give me a link to your Flickr photographs.
You’ll see everything there that I think is descent, fun, or good. It’s kindof my database and I put a fair amount up, about 20 per day. Just click the “Flickr” menu on the top of this site’s home page to get there. Aren’t we already Flickr contacts?
No, I don’t belong to Flickr. My son-in-law does.Duh, George, pay attention!
Well, I’m a contact of another George Weaver whose asking if I publish my work. Need to respond to him.
Actually, dammit, I guess I do belong. That is ME. Duh….
So to answer, I am a Getty Images Artist, iStockphoto contributor, and made the cut for one book that came out a few months ago called PlusOne Collection Limited Edition. I sell prints of course and am working on a space on this site to make that more obvious and easy.
I knew it. You are too good. I knew you were published somewhere. But, Getty Images? Give me your autograph this very minute. Where the hell do I order a signed photograph? My grandson is going to be auctioning off my photograph at Sotheby’s one day!
