Killer photo. Great composition!
Thanks Boyd!
You are welcome!
I’m running out of adjectives for you but this is magnificent. Ditto the comment above. What is it, a sculpture?
Oh, thank you! Yes, it’s a sculpture of four mesh “wings” that curve inward and all come together at the top. Glad you liked this one! Truly.
And, I’m sorry, which one haven’t I liked?!? Teasing!
It’s just that, seriously, I see many posts from the same people out there and I don’t usually like all their images. I don’t think that you have posted one that I didn’t think was amazing. So not having read your bio, is this your profession?
Ha ha! Good one Susan. I’m certainly glad you like the photos. I work really hard to find my style and still don’t really know what it is. I am not a professional, whatever that word means, and actually haven’t been shooting for very long. I sell some shots through Getty Images, some microstock agencies and prints, but that doesn’t add up to a big number
. I thinking about offering prints through the site but I’m not sure it “I’m there” yet creatively. Any advice in this area would be great.
I don’t know how much more “there” you could be but, then again, I’m strictly a recreational photographer with no training so what do I know. I’m floored you’re not doing this professionally, seems like such a waste but I can understand that it could be hard to a make a living at it. One of my goals is to publish some books with inspirational sayings that go with the photo. I’ve already made one on blurb ~ you would have an incredible collection to make your own book…whether you publish it yourself or find a publisher. Good luck and keep at it!
This is an amazing collection of photographs with a blend of creativity, a unique perspective, and what can only be called a true form of visual art.
I’m so glad you like them. And that is one of the nicest comments I’ve ever received. Thanks so much for taking the time to look around. – Mabry
Strangely mesmerizing.. I really like it.
Thanks Maggie. I’m trying to put you in a trance
.
A perfect symetry, Mabe’s sharp eye spotted it again
Freehand on this one. Almost perfect symmetry
. 0.5 cm off. But glad you like it. As you know, sometimes I through the symmetry way off on purpose. Those are always fun and sometimes wild looking.
Wonderful composition Mabe
Don’t know how I missed this, but how amazing !
